EMERYVILLE, Calif. — World recognized tennis star and business entrepreneur, Venus Williams, has teamed up with Jamba Juice (NASDAQ: JMBA) to promote the healthy, active lifestyle brand as celebrity spokesperson for the brand. Ms. Williams is also a Jamba Juice franchise store owner and has plans to open five stores in the Washington D.C. Metro Area over the next two years.

Ms. Williams was in Bethesda, Maryland on July 6 to celebrate the opening of her first Venus Williams-Jamba Juice store, which is located in the Westfield Montgomery mall. She expects to open a second store in the Washington D.C./Maryland market before the close of 2011.
