November 4, 2014

HOUSTON – The United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) has partnered with 2XU to offer a new benefit to its certified professionals, as announced on Monday. As the official fitness compression apparel company of the USPTA, 2XU will offer USPTA members preferred pricing on both personal and pro shop purchases.

As part of the endorsement agreement, 2XU will also take part in the USPTA’s Retirement Gold+ program by contributing to participating members’ accounts that purchase 2XU compression apparel for their club or facility. 2XU joins leading tennis and wellness companies Prince Global Sports, Fromuth, NetKnacks, Hop-a-Razzi and Power Plate to become the sixth contributor to the USPTA retirement program since the program began this year.

“Partnering with a leading fitness apparel company like 2XU allows USPTA to give our tennis professionals another opportunity to provide the latest fitness technology to their club members,” USPTA CEO John Embree said. “With our pros focused on their own wellbeing as well as that of their customer base, this is another great member benefit for USPTA Professionals.”

2XU is an official apparel supplier to multiple sporting institutions and boasts numerous product and sponsorship associations with world-class athletes, brands and race events across numerous sporting disciplines. 2XU appeals to professional, capable athletes and organizations seeking only the most advanced, performance orientated product available. 2XU’s notable partners include IRONMAN®, the United States Ski & Snowboard Association, and the Runner’s World Challenge.

“2XU is thrilled to be entering this important partnership with USPTA,” says Randy Becker, National Sales Manager, 2XU Tennis. “Athletes of levels in all sports are enhancing their athletic experience by minimizing risk of injury during activity and recovering faster by wearing 2XU compression; joining this stable of trusted USPTA partners will enable tennis professionals to introduce their clients to compression apparel and help them increase their enjoyment of the game.”
