HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (July 6, 2023) — The Professional Tennis Registry has signed a formal partnership agreement with Cliff Drysdale Tennis/Troon/PBI, one of the largest tennis club groups in the U.S. to enhance the education of tennis teaching pros and coaches. It’s the latest in PTR’s recent partnership agreements with other large commercial operators Life Time, Midtown and Sportime.

“We are excited to add such a successful and recognizable brand that shares the same values and drive for continuing education and professional coach credentials to an official partnership with the PTR,” said PTR CEO Dan Santorum. “The PTR continues to strive to provide the very best support, education and resources to help ensure that some of the largest employers of coaches within the U.S. are being recognized for the work they do within coach development.”

With the new agreement, Cliff Drysdale Tennis/Troon/PBI will hold PTR educational events at their partner clubs, and all tennis pros at their facilities will be PTR certified.

“Partnering with the PTR is a game-changer for us, because it unites thousands of professionals worldwide under one elevated standard of teaching,” said Scott McCulloch, President and COO of Cliff Drysdale Tennis. “More importantly, this will give our staff important tools and education resources to continue learning and growing in the industry, something we believe is extremely important to create career development opportunities.”
