2007 US Open Theme Art Captures the Spirit of the US Open and Welcomes the World to New York

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., June 28, 2007 — The USTA today unveiled the official 2007 US Open theme art created by Joanne Hus, the first woman to design theme art for the US Open. The theme art captures the personality of both the US Open and New York with a powerful and symbolic design, reflecting the event’s unique combination of sports, entertainment and international competition. Over 400 players from more than 65 countries compete each year at the US Open, the highest attended annual sporting event in the world.
