New Tennis Professionals join Sunset Hills Country Club Staff

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – June 8th, 2008 — Paul Steele USPTA Director of Tennis at Sunset Hills Country Club Thousand Oaks, California has hired three new Tennis Professionals. Quinn Borchard USPTA was hired to take over as the Head Teaching Professional, Scott Christie USPTA and Mila Horak USPTA will take on Jr. and Adult Classes as well as the Quick Start Program.

Quinn comes from a great background as a nationally ranked jr. out of the Camarillo, California area, playing at the Cabrillo racquet club during the days of Mike and Bob Byran. Quinn went on to receive a full scholarship to the University of Portland where he was the number one player and team captain during his four years of competition. Quinn became certified by the USPTA as a pro 1 upon graduation and went on to work at a number of clubs, most recently Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks California. Quinn is available for group or private lessons adults and juniors.

Also hired onto the Sunset Hills Staff is Scott Christie. Scott comes to Sunset Hills with a great deal of experience in developing juniors, he is currently coaching Marcos Giron the number 1 ranked 14 year old in the U.S. Scott is also certified by the USPTA as a pro 1.

Mila is local USPTA P1, teaching over 20 years. A former Canadian Jr. Champion, she knows all phases of the game of tennis. Her passion is developing upcoming players, for which she has received the USPTA Tennis Award.

The Sunset Hills Jr. program is currently one of the strongest programs in California with players ranked in the top ten in the U.S. well as Sectional and National champions.
