Cutler Receives Top Education Credit Earner Honors

During its annual awards breakfast at the USPTA World Conference on Tennis held Sept. 21-26 at the Marco Island Marriott Resort, Golf Club and Spa on Marco Island, Fla., the United States Professional Tennis Association recognized those members who make education a priority. The Association honored Alan Cutler from Whittier, Calif., as the top credit earner in USPTA’s Career Development Program.

Cutler earned the most continuing education credits in the 2008 program. He earned an incredible 172 education credits.

Cutler is a USPTA Master Professional and the director of tennis for Playtennisforlife.info. He is a member of the National Advisory staff for HEAD Penn, and holds two specialist degrees, one in Competitive Player Development and the other in Computer Technology.

He is the past president of the USPTA California Division and has spoken at many USPTA division conventions and World Conferences. His previous honors include the USPTA Industry Excellence Award, USPTA California Division Pro of the Year and the USPTA California Division President’s award.
