WILMINGTON, Del. — HEAD® professionals delivered strong performances recently at tournaments around the world using new HEAD® tennis racquets featuring grommets made with DuPont™ Teflon® friction reducing polymer. Novak Djokovic, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Mikhail Youzhny, and Andy Murray all took the top spots at ATP tournaments. Djokovic plays the YouTek™ Speed Pro, Kuznetsova and Youzhny the MG Extreme Pro, and Andy Murray the YouTek™ Radical Pro.

HEAD® professional Novak Djokovic plays the YouTek™ Speed Pro, featuring grommets made with DuPont™ Teflon® friction reducing polymer. HEAD® asked DuPont to develop a material with a low-friction contact surface that would enable strings to slide though a racquet’s grommets with almost no friction. With little resistance, the strings are able to maintain their energy during ball impact, providing more power.
