HEAD USA Strengthens Organization

Phoenix, AZ — HEAD USA has promoted Kevin Kempin from his role of President Racquet Sports Division to CEO HEAD USA. With his new role Kempin will have full responsibilities for HEAD USA’s Racquet Sports and Winter Sports divisions. “Kevin has been successful in each of the senior management positions he has held with HEAD. His passion and drive, along with his knowledge of the HEAD brand and the markets we service in Racquet Sports and Winter Sports make him an ideal fit for this role”, said Johan Eliasch Chairman and CEO, HEAD NV.

Greg Mason, a 10 year Racquet Sports industry veteran has been promoted to VP Sales & Marketing — Racquet Sports and will assume full responsibilities for all sales and marketing efforts within the U.S. “Greg has held several key sales and marketing positions within our company and has had an excellent track record of success. We look forward to him taking our Racquet Sports division to the next level”, added Kempin.

Roger Petersman has been promoted to Sr. Category Mgr. — Tennis Racquets. Roger is known throughout the industry as a technical expert in the field. In his new role he will assume additional responsibilities for U.S. product development and promotions. “This will allow HEAD, through Roger’s efforts, to take full advantage of all our resources and synergies in the tennis racquet category — product development to marketing to promotions all under one roof”, commented Kempin.

In addition Mike Hymer will take over as Business Manager — Footwear. “Mike has been a wonderful addition to the HEAD USA team. His passion for Racquet Sports, coupled with his attention to detail, will serve him well in this additional role”, said Kempin.

Jon Rucker, who joined the Winter Sports Division in 2009 has been promoted to Director Sales & Marketing — Winter Sports. “In the short time he has been with HEAD Jon has already had a very positive impact. His track record of success in the Winter Sports category, his innovative and creative approach to the business, and his focus on servicing our retail partners have served him well. I look forward to Jon leading our Winter Sports division into the future”, said Kempin.
