MODO Launches US Open Tennis Sunglasses
August 3, 2010
New York — Modo Eyewear and the United States Tennis Association (USTA) introduce officially licensed US Open Sunglasses for the tournament which takes place August 30th – September 12th, 2010.
The style is a unisex shape and comes in classic “US Open blue”. The frame offers the highest level of technology in lenses, High Chromatic Definition, providing natural color contrast that not only improves reaction time but increases visibility of the tennis ball. The lenses also feature anti-reflective coating which reduces reflections and improves visual comfort during bright sun conditions. The US Open flaming ball logo is placed on each temple and the US Open logo is featured on each temple tip.
The sunglasses are ideal for on and off the tennis court and will be supplied to US Open line judges and chair umpires at the 2010 event.
Each frame comes in a black case and cardboard box including a cleaning cloth with tennis court design. Suggested retail price is $89. Available at USTA.com and Sunglasshut.com
Special Packaging at Sunglasshut.com; Starting August 16th, 2010 sunglasshut.com will be offering the sunglasses packaged in a tennis ball can along with an official ball used at the 2009 US Open (while supplies last).
