Babolat Recognizes Top Retailers and Reps
September 23, 2010
Boulder, Colorado — Babolat, leading manufacturer of tennis equipment, congratulates this year’s Babolat Sales Awards winners. Recognizing outstanding achievements, the Babolat Sales Awards are presented annually to retail partners and company representatives.
Retailer of the Year: Michael Lynne’s Tennis Shop
What started out as a hobby for Michael Lynne—stringing tennis racquets for friends—has evolved into a highly successful, 5,500-square-foot specialty tennis store. Known for exceptional service and technical expertise, Michael Lynne’s Tennis Shop has been serving the tennis community of Minneapolis, Minnesota, for 20 years. Not only have founders Michael and Mimzy Lynne created a very loyal customer base, but they’ve also developed programs to support the youth of their community with free tennis lessons and equipment. “It’s an honor to receive this award,” says Michael Lynne. “We just renewed our lease for another 15 years so we look forward to a long lasting relationship with Babolat.”
Mickey Maule, national sales manager for Babolat USA has worked with Michael Lynne for over a decade and says, “Michael has one of the nicest merchandised shops in the country along with first class service. Support of Babolat in all categories and the drive to find ways to increase business and stay ahead of the curve are the reasons Michael Lynne’s Tennis Shop is Babolat’s 2010 Retailer of the Year.”
Sales Representative of the Year: Rick Walsh
What does it take to be the Babolat Sales Representative of the Year? According to Maule it’s service, service, service. Babolat sales representative Rick Walsh provides just that in covering the Missouri Valley Territory. “Service is the key to his success. Rick is always available and his follow up skills are second to none,” says Maule. “Rick has done an outstanding job in growing the business and representing the brand in his market.”
“Tennis Runs in Our Blood”: Tennis Warehouse
New for 2010, the “Tennis Runs in Our Blood” award is given to the individual or business that stands out in promoting, supporting and elevating the Babolat brand in an unparalleled and passionate way. Maule explains, “Tennis Warehouse is a great partner for Babolat and consistently goes the extra mile to promote our products with credible reviews and the latest, most up-to-date information on the web.”
Congratulations to all of the Babolat Sales Award recipients!
