Klip America now Epic Sports International

SAN DIEGO — Epic Sports International, Inc., a global sports brand management firm, today announced the official renaming of Klip America, Inc., the worldwide licensee for Völkl Tennis and Boris Becker Tennis.

“Coupled with the launch of new, premium technology product next year, the Völkl brand is on track to becoming the # 5 premium tennis brand in the U.S. in 2011.”

In addition, Epic has announced a new long-term, global logistics deal with Samsung C&T America, Inc. (SCTA), a global trading and investment firm. As a result of the deal, SCTA will be responsible for all domestic ‘pick and pack’ functions and logistics management between Epic’s Far East suppliers and the firm’s global distribution networks.

Moreover, the firm has signed new, global distribution partnerships across Europe and Asia for Völkl Tennis products. The new deals include Mint Apparel in the UK; Limited Sports in Germany, Switzerland and Austria; Zero To Zero in the Netherlands; and Kawasaki in China.
