Club managers: Send pros to the USPTA Conference

August 17, 2011

The United States Professional Tennis Association wants all club managers to consider the tremendous benefits of sending their director of tennis and/or teaching professional staff members to the World Conference on Tennis from Sept. 19 – 24 at the Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, Fla.

In light of the event’s focus on 10 and Under Tennis and the speakers who will address programming and competition for this group of young players, the conference is a great opportunity to immerse club tennis staff in the subject and enhance enthusiasm about this segment of the tennis marketplace. Other seminar and specialty course topics that are beneficial to club tennis staff include Tennis Club Programming, Social Media for your Business, Developing a Wellness Program for Your Club, Yourself, and Your Players, and Growing Your Tennis Business. Participants will also be able to attend a tennis buying show and certification upgrade opportunities.

This annual event provides tremendous education benefits to anyone who teaches, manages and promotes tennis activity, and the USPTA believes club managers will be able to see how these benefits enhance the business at their facilities. Continuing education of teaching professionals is vital to the success of club programs and is a key to enhancing member service and satisfaction.

The conference, which is the premier educational event for the tennis industry, will feature more than 40 general sessions, seminars and specialty courses. It is the country’s largest tennis gathering with approximately 1,500 attendees expected. Be sure that your professional tennis staff doesn’t miss out!
