AUSTIN, Texas — With anticipation rising for the first match of US Open Tennis taking place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, New York on Monday, August 29th, TicketCity offers even more excitement around the event with the opportunity to win free tickets in the TicketCity 2011 Racquet Bracket Contest. Sports fans and contest fanatics alike are invited to submit bracket entries for the US Open Men’s Singles category, as well as the Women’s Singles category.

Entrants will then be directed to complete and submit a bracket for the Men’s Singles category, Women’s Singles category, or both. Participants can also check back for updated standings throughout the tournament and receive email updates with standings upon the completion of rounds.

Russian Vera Zvonareva, who is number two on the world stage, will look to improve on her runner-up finish last year in Queens. Maria Sharapova and Li Na will look to also make a run to hoist the trophy on final Saturday on Arthur Ashe Court.

The 2011 US Open will be played at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., August 29th through September 4th, 2011.
