In her new role Frost will be responsible for developing donor relationships, leading targeted fundraising campaigns, and advancing the organization’s annual fund, planned giving and membership programs. These fundraising programs support the Hall of Fame in the growth and maintenance of an extensive tennis Museum and archives, preservation of the buildings and grounds, which are a National Historic Landmark, and various other programs to support the non-profit’s mission to preserve the history of the tennis, honor the greatest champions of the sport, and inspire future generations.

“We are delighted to welcome Christine to the International Tennis Hall of Fame,” said Mark L. Stenning, CEO. “Between the effective skills she has shown in fundraising and development, and her enthusiasm for our mission, we are confident she will play a key role in the organization’s growth.”

During her tenure at Brown University, Frost served as a senior fundraiser throughout the highly successful seven-year Boldly Brown Campaign, which raised $1.6 billion, significantly exceeding the original goal of $1.4 billion. She oversaw a staff of seven development professionals with a collective annual fundraising goal of $20 million and responsibility for relationships with more than 800 donors. In addition, Frost personally managed 110 major and principal gift prospects, annually exceeding personal fundraising goals of $5 million. Prior to beginning her role as associate director in 2005, Frost was a senior development officer for five years, during which time she managed a portfolio of 250 major gift prospects in the $100,000 to $5 million range. Frost was recruited to the university’s development team in April 2000, after having worked as an events consultant at the university for one year.

Prior to her move to fundraising and development, Frost worked in account management at several global marketing agencies. She held the role of account supervisor at McCann Relationship Marketing, the direct marketing arm of McCann-Erickson, where she managed acquisition and retention direct marketing for UPS in Asia and South and Central America. Prior to that position, she was a senior account executive for J. Walter Thompson Direct, where she managed the implementation of a new campaign targeting the college market for Sprint Telecommunications.

Frost is a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. She resides in Newport, R.I. with her husband and their two children. She is a member of the Board of Trustees at The Pennfield School in Portsmouth, R.I.
