January 31, 2013
Charlottesville, Va. — Har-Tru Sports (Har-Tru) made an announcement today that it has named Tracy Lynch director of sales. Har-Tru has been focusing on sales strategies that line up with the company’s efforts to bring innovative products to market that help customers maximize their potential.
Pat Hanssen, General Manager for Har-Tru, said, “Tracy has a gift for building meaningful relationships with associates, customers and business partners,” Hanssen added. “His ability to be courageous yet compassionate and his commitment to his customers have helped us transition into an innovative company, focused on the success of others.”
Playing a key role in helping the company expand domestically and internationally, Lynch will manage the company’s inside and outside sales teams and all initiatives related to customer touch points.
Lynch commented, “I’m extremely excited and honored to lead all sales initiatives for the company. I look forward to continuing to strengthen my existing customer relationships while developing new ones that align with and support our company’s vision of developing champions around the world.”
In his previous role, Lynch served as the Wholesale Accounts Manager, managing and leading many of the company’s sales initiatives. Despite the company’s recent efforts focused on player development, Lynch’s determination to grow and ensure the success of the wholesale accounts didn’t waver. Lynch was responsible for increased sales revenues and the introduction of new accounts for the Wholesale segment.
Lynch has been immersed in the tennis community for the past 20 years. He has been active as a USTA league player, works very closely with clubs and facilities and volunteers in the local tennis community. He is also involved in the American Sports Builders Association and has served as the Technical Meeting Chairman. In 2009, Lynch was recognized as the Salesperson of the Year by Racquet Sports Industry Magazine.
Lynch resides in Charlottesville, Va. with his wife, Katie and two sons Konnor and Peyton.
