Prince stringing at the Gerry Webber Open

June 10, 2014

BORDENTOWN, NEW JERSEY — Prince (princetennis.com), a leading manufacturer and distributor of performance racquet sports equipment, footwear and apparel, is proud to announce today that it will be the official stringing service at the prestigious ATP 250 Gerry Weber Open in Halle, Germany, now underway. The tournament played on grass has established itself as a leading ATP event over the years before the third Grand Slam event of the year – Wimbledon – taking place just two weeks later. With this announcement, Prince is excited to step back into the segment of professional stringing services and will welcome all visitors of the event to their booth in Halle where the entire product line (launched in the Fall of 2013) will be on display.

“Prince and the ATP 250 Gerry Weber Open are a great partnership. Prince is also the exclusive partner of the Breakpoint Base Tennis Academy located at the Gerry Weber Sports World. Coaches of the Academy will attend the booth this week to answer any questions players have about a professional player career, planning and practice opportunities,” said Prince Marketing Manager, Olivia Clement.

At the Gerry Webber Open, Prince will give an inside look into the stringers world with every visitor having access to see the professional tour stringers of the Prince team doing their work on four Prince 6000 professional stringing machines. The Prince team will also be answering any question about strings, racquets and all other tennis products on-site. The booth, which will showcase the full collection of their new racquet line, includes Prince’s latest technology releases such as the ESP (Extreme String Pattern) and Pro (traditional grommeted frames) models. At the Gerry Webber Open, Prince’s expert team can also help visitors find the right racquet with the use of Prince’s new Racquet Selector App and power level system.

In addition to this, the entire collection of newly developed and recently launched Prince strings will be on display at the booth with the Prince Team experts available to help tennis players find the right string for any level of play. In the Premier Collection, there are newly developed Multifilament strings for all hard hitters and a new line of Co-Polyester strings within the Tour Line. With many pros and top level players using Hybrid strings, Prince has various options available in their Warrior Line.

This week, Prince welcomes all visitors who attend the Gerry Webber Open to bring their own racquets to the Prince Stringing Service booth and receive special stringing offers going on every day of the event. For all of their stringing services, Prince will be using their top-of-the-line stringing machine, the Prince P6000, and will also offer an individual customization service at its Prince Precision Tuning Center. Guest of Prince at the Gerry Webber Open who would like to have the same service stringing service as one of the top tournaments players may also request this.
