LSI illuminates facility with Indirect LED
February 3, 2015
Cincinnati, OH — As part of a $5 million expansion and renovation program, the Fort Collins Country Club constructed three new indoor tennis courts to complement their existing five outdoor courts. The facility chose to use the new S x S LED indirect lighting system from LSI to illuminate the courts. The average light levels provided by the S x S system as designed for this facility are over 100 foot-candles, with exceptional uniformity. In addition, the S x S LED system requires virtually no maintenance over its 60,000 to 100,000 hour life. Most importantly, the S x S system will require 50% less energy cost than conventional HID lighting systems.
Fort Collins Country Club Director of Tennis Scott Langs commented, “I’ve been tennis pro for over 30 years and have been in many indoor clubs. The new LED lighting system LSI provided is the best I’ve seen.”
