Greenville, SC — Dunlop is proud to congratulate Sudsy Monchik on his election to the Racquetball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility for the Professional category. USA Racquetball made the announcement Monday March 9th.
“Sudsy helped launch our racquetball business in 2013 with the same level of energy he brought to the game, and that’s made a huge difference for us,” said Kai Nitsche, V.P. and General Manager of Dunlop Sports Group Americas. “From the first day we started working together it was easy to tell how much passion he still has for racquetball, so it’s great to see the game reward him back with its highest honor. We couldn’t be happier for him.”
“This is a great honor, and I have so many people to thank for helping to make it happen,” said Monchik. “I knew I never wanted to leave the game so I’m grateful to Dunlop for giving me the opportunity to lead their business into racquetball. I’ve enjoyed the past few years immensely.”
Monchik, five-time world champion and holder of over 50 professional titles, has been in racquetball for 30 years. He continues to compete in select events, including exhibitions and clinics and announces racquetball on TV. Monchik led the development of Dunlop’s global product line, in addition to handling promotions and sponsorships.
