Phoenix – Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and HEAD announced the extension of their long standing partnership this week. For over thirty years, the HEAD and PTR relationship has grown stronger and continues to be one of the longest sponsorships in tennis history.

PTR has more than 15,000 members in 125 countries. Throughout the years, PTR’s mission has been to educate, certify and service tennis teachers and coaches around the world in order to grow the game of tennis.

“HEAD’s partnership with PTR goes back to Dennis Van der Meer and the very early days of the organization,” said Greg Mason, President of HEAD USA Racquet Sports. “To see the growth PTR has had and the positive impact they continue to have on teaching professionals around the world is incredibly impressive. It’s hard to imagine a better partnership than this which is based on the constant goal of improving all aspects of tennis.”

Because of the relationship between HEAD and PTR, PTR members will get to take advantage of the contract extension by gaining access to the successful PTR Team HEAD Program, as well as discounted products.

HEAD has gained top reviews over the last several years for exceptional technologies, premium products, and sponsors some of the best players in the world including Novak Djokovic, Maria Sharapova, and Andy Murray.

“PTR is proud of our decades long sponsorship from HEAD, which is the longest standing relationship in the tennis industry,” said Dan Santorum, PTR Chief Executive Officer. We proudly promote HEAD racquets and bags to our members with confidence. The #1 ATP player in the world endorses a HEAD racquet for a reason.”
