July 13, 2016
Huntington Beach, CA – With the Pacific Ocean’s waves crashing nearby, HEAD Penn’s Rocky Carson continued his dominance of the outdoor racquetball game with yet another World Outdoor Racquetball (WOR) Championship. Carson’s win in the top singles division was his 12th overall WOR singles championship for his career.
In addition to the singles title, Rocky won the men’s doubles division in Huntington Beach. The doubles title is Carson’s fourth of his WOR career.
Rocky is enjoying the summer playing outdoors after a successful season on the indoor courts. In May he won the USA Racquetball National Championship in Denver. For the 2015-2016 season on the International Racquetball Tour (IRT), Carson won three professional tournaments en-route to a No. 2 finish in the season long rankings race. Rocky has not finished a professional season outside the Top 5 ranked players in the world in more than a decade.
