PTR Symposium dates announced

Hilton Head Island, SC — Professional Tennis Registry will host its premier coaching event – the PTR International Tennis Symposium – February 13-16, 2018, on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
More than 45 industry experts will conduct classroom and on court presentations at the PTR Symposium, including heavy hitters Leo Alonso, Mike Barrell, Emma Doyle, Frank Giampaolo, Edgar Giffenig, Dr. Ben Kibler, Dr. Mark Kovacs, Chris Lewit, Dr. Jim Loehr, Carl Maes, Craig O’Shannessy, Joao Pinho, Oivind Sorvald and Sarah Stone. Topics range from tennis business and sport science to teaching tactics and techniques.
In addition to unparalleled education, the Symposium boasts a Tennis Trade Show with demo courts, and a tournament, where coaches compete. Participants look forward to the Parade of Nations Flag Ceremony and enjoy awards presentations during the annual banquet and membership meeting.
Because of the Symposium’s stellar reputation as a top coach education destination, attracting participants from around the world, the STMS (Society for Tennis Medicine and Science) has scheduled its conference immediately following the Symposium anticipating drawing some of PTR’s high caliber attendees.
PTR is the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals with more than 15,700 members in 125 countries. It has the greatest percentage of multicultural and women members of any such organization. PTR is dedicated to educating, certifying and servicing tennis teachers and coaches around the world in order to grow the game.
