Tennis Channel is Exclusive Home of US Open Series

July 14, 2021

Tennis Channel will be the exclusive home of the entire US Open Series, the seven-week, nine-tournament circuit that leads up to the US Open at the end of August. From now through August 28, the network and its streaming service Tennis Channel Plus will be the only places to catch live and on-demand action from the annual North American series. This includes ATP Masters 1000 men’s events in Toronto and Cincinnati, as the channel will have an on-site desk at each and cover the competition live from beginning to end for the first time in its history.

The 2021 US Open Series includes: the Hall of Fame Open for the Van Alen Cup (Newport, R.I.), Truist Atlanta Open (Atlanta), Citi Open (Washington, D.C.), Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic (San Jose, Calif.), National Bank Open presented by Rogers (Montreal/Toronto), Western & Southern Open (Cincinnati), Winston-Salem Open (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and Tennis In The Land (Cleveland). Tournaments in Newport, Atlanta, Washington, Toronto and Winston-Salem are ATP men’s events, while San Jose, Montreal and Cleveland are WTA women’s competitions. Cincinnati features men’s and women’s play.

Tennis Channel will provide 270 hours of live matches during the US Open Series, with at least 30 hours at each tournament (schedule below). Another 365 hours of encore matches will air on the network this summer, meaning it will dedicate close to 640 hours to the circuit. On-air talent for each event has yet to be determined.
